A/C Duct Cleaning
The indoor Air quality is our primary concern especially with the increase of pollution level inside the HVAC duct. IHO-
international health emphasizes the problem in schools, hotels, high rise buildings, villas and industrial plant where many people are
ailing from Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) which results into headaches, tiredness, sore throats and allergies.
The cleaning process starts from the air-handling unit or the package unit to the end of the duct.
- All ducts in the same working floor will be divided into section and each section will be cleaned
separately.
- Heavy duty vacuum machine will be used to collect all dust accumulated.
- Mechanical flexible brushing will be used to clean internal bore of the duct.
- All dirt’s will be collected, packed in sealed special plastic bags for environment precaution
measures.
- All slot and linear diffusers will be cleaned by air blowing and vacuuming and then applying the
sanitizing agent after the cleaning process is completed.
Water Tank Cleaning
Our main concern in performing that task is to ensure the highest level of hygiene standard for the health life safety aspect and the
hygienic need to comply with the Dubai Municipality environment sector rules and regulations.
Methodology of cleaning
Water Tank Cleaning and Disinfection Procedure
- Safety clothing / equipment required: overalls, safety boots, eye protection, gloves& masks.
- Check the pump and the taps for pressure before starting the job. In case of any faults inform the tenant and Operation
Manager.Electrical items, pumps, lights, pressure washers shall be connected to a circuit breaker.
- Use plastic sheeting on the ground while transferring or mixing chemicals.
- A fool bath is placed at the entry to the tank to prevent recontamination.
- Empty the tank of all water, sand, sediment etc then close the drain valve.
- Apply Bactericidal to the tank surface and sides using special spray equipment.
- Allow chemicals to remain on the surface for approximately 15 minutes.
- Rinse off with sufficient quantity of water to ensure complete cleaning.
- Apply Approved Disinfectant (200 to 300 ppm) to the tank to ensure that the tank is sanitized; allow the chemical
to remain 20 minutes before washing up the tank with fresh water.
- Test the water for ph to ensure that it is between 6.5 to 6.8. If required dilute with water or neutralizer .Test again for ph. Do
not add more water or neutralizer once the ph of 6.5 is attained.
- Drain the tank and rinse its bottom.
- Ensure that the ball valves work properly.
- Refill the tank & fix the lids with “Ties “to prevent accidental removal if necessary.
- Ensure that the taps have the same pressure as before cleaning was done.
- Fit filter screens to prevent insects, rodents and birds entering the tank if necessary.
Prepare the service report and record the quantity of water also record the quantity of chemicals and neutralizer used on job cost
form.
